Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. About FortifyOps
FortifyOps provides cloud and cybersecurity support for small businesses, including basic security reviews, Cyber Essentials readiness support, cloud security checks, account hardening, and practical security guidance.
2. Scope of services
The exact scope of any work will be agreed before the service begins. FortifyOps may provide reviews, recommendations, checklists, reports, and support with practical improvements.
FortifyOps does not provide official Cyber Essentials certification. Cyber Essentials readiness support is preparation guidance only.
3. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining access to their own accounts, approving any changes, and ensuring they have proper backups before making technical changes.
4. No guarantee of complete security
Cybersecurity risk can be reduced but not completely removed. FortifyOps provides practical support and recommendations, but no service can guarantee that a business will never experience a security incident.
5. Payment terms
Payment terms will be agreed before paid work begins. Invoices should be paid by the due date stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Confidentiality
FortifyOps will treat client information, security details, business documents, and technical information as confidential unless disclosure is required by law or agreed by the client.
7. Limitation of liability
FortifyOps aims to provide careful and practical advice. However, clients remain responsible for business decisions, technical changes, and security outcomes. Liability will be limited to the amount agreed in the specific service agreement where legally permitted.
